• Presentation:
    • Please register at the General Office of Physics Department, Rm518 Chong Yuet Ming Physics Building to choose the time slot and the examiner. You need NOT declare the topic during the registration.
    • You should register from March 22, 2010 to March 26, 2010. First come first choose. Absolutely no late registration is allowed.
    • Please mark the date, time, and venue of the presentation in your diary. You will not be informed any more.
    • The examiners could be Dr. M.K. Yip, Mr. C.K. To, Mr. J.F. Wang and Mr. W.Y. Shan. Once registered, it is not allowed to add or drop members.
    • Each group will give one 10 minute presentation. Each student should join one and only one group. A group can consist maximum of five (5) students and minimum of four (4) students.
    • If you cannot find enough people to form a group, you could post messages in the forum to ask for partners.
    • Topics: Each group can choose only ONE topic from the list. Topics presented not from the list will score no mark.

    • Please bring with your computer for the presentation purpose. Room 518A is not facilated with any computer set.
    • The group can decide who and how many of the members are going to actually give the presentation, but all members must come because we might question any of them after the presentation.
    • We will judge the presentation in terms of the English (10%), the presentation skill (20%), the scientific content (40%) and the ability of answering questions of all members (30%).
    • You can use any media (transparencies, PowerPoint, etc.). There is no extra credit for fancy presentation style and you are responsible for the proper working of your own equipment.
    • Write in your own wordings.
    • Please arrive about 10 minutes early, and wait outside the room.
    • Each member of a group will receive the same marks. We expect the mean is about 50%. (Note this is the mean, not the passing marks.)
