姚望 is my name in Chinese. I am currently an assistant professor in Department of Physics at The University of Hong Kong. I received my Bachelor degree in physics from Peking University in 2001. I received my PhD degree in physics from University of California, San Diego in 2006. My PhD thesis advisor is Prof. Lu Jeu Sham. From August 2006 to August 2008, I have been a postdoctoral researcher in Prof. Qian Niu's group at the University of Texas at Austin.

My wife Yuhong is a lawyer. We got married in December, 2001.
