Light Pollution Research and Video Competitions 2015-16:
Oral Presentation and Award Ceremony

Introduction

Light Pollution is a form of environmental degradation in which excessive artificial outdoor lighting affect the natural environment and the ecosystem. Supported by the HKU Knowledge Exchange Impact Project funding, the Light Pollution Research and Video Competitions 2015-16 aim to provide opportunities for secondary school students and the general public to focus on the adverse effects of light pollution and to investigate its properties. The final round judging of the research competition and the award presentation ceremonies of both competitions will be held on that day.
