PhD (experimental)
Are you interested in controlling and tracking electronic dynamics in condensed matter?
Are you interested in learning and developing the underlying physics of light-matter interaction?
Are you fascinated by developing the state-of-the-art engineering skills and capabilities?
If your answer to either of the above questions is yes, please consider applying for the standard Postgraduate Scholarship (PGS). Excellent students can apply for the Hong Kong PhD Fellowships or our prestigious Presidential PhD Fellowship. The deadline for all the applications is December 1st, 2024.
Please note that there is no need to prepare three applications. You would only need to prepare one set of application, and submit the application materials to HKU PGS. During the application, ther would be an option to apply for HKPF and HKU PS. Your application materials for HKU PGS will be then forwarded to the corresponding committe of the respective fellowship. The review of the documents would take months. If you do not hear from the Graduate School, it could be that your application has not been shortlisted. Alternative, you can contact us for an update.
