Venue:Seminar Room 522, 5/F., Chong Yuet Ming Physics Building

Abstract

Gamma-Ray Bursts are the most energetic explosions in the Universe, and are among the most promising for detecting multiple non-electromagnetic signals, including cosmic rays, very high energy neutrinos and gravitational waves. I will discuss the latest observational and theoretical developments  in  the GRB field, in particular concerning predictions and current constraints on cosmic ray, neutrino and GW fluxes, and prospects for detection with existing and future facilities.

Coffee and tea will be served 20 minutes prior to the seminar.
