Introduction

Dr. Zuzhang Lin got his B.S. in physics at Beihang University (BU) and PhD at Tsinghua University (TU). After his PhD, he did postdoctoral research at the university of Hong Kong. He has been working at Physics department, University of Hong Kong since 2021.

Research Interests

Dr Zuzhang Lin's research interests encompass light–matter interactions, first-principles investigations of low-dimensional materials (including ferroelectricity, spin and valley phenomena, and topological properties), and electron–phonon interactions. His recent work has focused on controlling two-dimensional materials via cavity vacuum fields and exploring the fractional quantum anomalous Hall effect, in both of which he has achieved significant advances.
